Job description:

A new PMO Manager is required to join a Brisbane-based government department on a 12 month contract + extension.

As the PMO manager you will be working on a program that comprises five projects that span multiple years and aim to create a centralised and unified repository for crucial data across the organisation.

The implementation of robust data governance and quality control processes will enable improved analytics and reporting capabilities, which will provide valuable intelligence and insights.

This role involves supporting the planning and implementation of the business transformation and technology foundations projects.

It presents a unique and thrilling opportunity for a strategic, astute, and perceptive leader who seeks to take an active part in shaping and establishing an emerging data strategy practice and technical capability within the department.

About you:

A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated track record of successfully establishing PMO functions within State Government programs.
Proven experience in overseeing the delivery of largescale and complex projects.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget oversight.
Proven ability to build positive relationships and influence key stakeholders.
Excellent problemsolving and facilitation skills.
Proficiency in M365 tool set, including MS Teams and SharePoint.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data management principles, including technologies and processes, would be highly valued.
