What you will learn and contribute to


Sales professional with technical and business understanding of telecoms solutions, responsible for generating orders and revenues by selling Nokia's solutions to customer.


This specific position requires expertise in Analytics domain to lead and close deals related to Nokia Analytics in Oceania market.

The Analytics expertise is required across various layers from network (including mobile and fixed, access and core, IMS etc.) analytics, service analytics, to subscriber analytics, and to sustainability analytics.

The expertise is required to sell Nokia value proposition, influence customers and manage customer-facing expertise together with Nokia presales experts.

As Nokia analytics solutions are ready for SaaS (Software as a Service) based deployment, the expertise is required to sell Nokia analytics solution as SaaS.


You will have a great opportunity to be part of CSP's AI/ML based transformation programs, access to different department heads and C-Level.

You are expected to make an impact on how well Nokia serves our customer because you will be the person accountable to identify and close analytics deals based on the customer needs.


Main Responsibility Areas:


  • Accountable for the CSPs under your coverage, carrying specific analytics sales targets.
  • Constantly interacts with key stakeholders within customers, understanding their objectives, challenges and remit to increase own effectiveness.
  • Manage daily customer sales activities, ensuring customer queries are being dealt with in an effective and timely manner.
  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities, in collaboration with presales experts.
  • Coordinates activities among sales, presales and other functions based on indepth organizational understanding (Mode of Operations, processes, etc) and relevant market knowledge, in order to meet business objectives.
  • Participates in pricing strategies and contract negotiations and actively provides useful input.
  • Solves complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.
  • Acts as a professional leader for staff and task forces, often the most senior and recognized sales professional in a team, who serves as best practice resource.
  • Communicating vital customer information internally to relevant Sales & Executive teams.
  • Follow all Nokia Information Security policies and guidelines including ISMS (ISO27001 program)

Your skills and experience

  • 10 to 20 years relevant experience with a proven track record on direct sales, selling within the Telecommunication / IT & related services industry, specifically in analytics domain as outlined above: network (including mobile and fixed, access and core, IMS etc.) analytics, service analytics, subscriber analytics, sustainability analytics (such as energy efficiency).
  • Fluency in English language
  • Proven ability to identify, qualify, negotiate and close deals
  • Solid performance history of achieving and/or exceeding targets (order intake, revenues, etc.)
  • Relevant experience in working with people within a matrix organization
  • Building strategic working relationships and Building customer loyalties
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and professional customer relationship skills
  • Strong customer driven mindset, energetic, self starter, takes initiative
