NOW HIRING | Now Hiring | We are searching for a Midweight Fashion Designer with an innovative fashion brand in stunning Surry Hills offices in Sydney. Locally produced in Australia - this brand is privately owned and part of a wider successful fashion group.

Beautifully craftmanship, elevated design, technical innovation, and exclusive finishes you will support the Senior Designer and Brand Director with the creative vision for this brand in line with the Brand Director and a supportive design team.

You will bring your strong design ethic and creative energy combined with a modern approach to dressing.

Day to day will see you:

Creating design sketches in alignment with current local and international fashion trends
Your sharp sense of style along with your design training will ensure that you are able to follow through your design from sketch to garment, whilst embracing the brand vision
Working with a team of designers, pattern makers and production team to bring the collections to life

Skills and Experience:

35 years previous experience in a Fashion Designer role (ideally hand) sketching and developing collections
An evident understanding of current international fashion trends
Understanding of elevated design aesthetic
Positive attitude and creative flair
Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and manage a fast paced, busy design team
