Telecommunications Specialist - Government Organisation - 11 Month Contract + Extensions - Daily Market Rates - Newstead + WFH Flexibility
An exciting opportunity awaits as our client seeks a highly proficient telecommunications specialist.

They are specifically looking for a dynamic individual with a Cisco Certified Network Professional or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation, coupled with a remarkable track record of at least 5 years in an enterprise environment.

This role involves providing operational support and contributing to the design of the Corporate Data Network. Join our this team and be part of a cutting-edge telecommunications venture that promises growth, challenges, and professional fulfilment.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and report Voice & Data Network metrics and capacity to meet agreed service levels and policies.
Adhere to and manage established network security standards, and assist in defining and documenting additional standards when necessary.
Liaise with contract or internal staff for network equipment installation, programming, testing, and commissioning.
Document system diagrams, design documents, standards maintenance, test plans, and work instructions.

Essential Skills:

CCNP or highly experienced CCNA qualifications
Cisco Meraki configuration and implementation: CMNO/ECMS1/ECMS
Large enterprise environment experience
Advanced BGP knowledge
Steelhead Central, Riverbed, Thousand Eyes experience
Proficient with jobticketing systems
Network data capture and analysis tools expertise (e.g., Wireshark)
Cisco Data Centre Network Manager and VXLAN experience
Data communication operations, maintenance, implementation, testing, and documentation familiarity
