1+ years of employee and performance management experience

  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 25kg during shifts

Four key areas that you'll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your area.

  • Review the work forecasts and determine your requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building goals.
  • Partner with other Area Managers to balance labour ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
  • Support all safety programs and EHS compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
  • Identify and direct process improvement initiatives and effectively utilise Lean tools.
You and your team are responsible for getting Amazon customers their orders.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so that they can focus on their jobs.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead your assigned team safely, taking particular care to enhancing safety measures within the workplace.
  • Lead your team with empathy, taking the time to engage all Associates and remove any barriers that they may have.
  • Lead coaching of your team (including quality and productivity) to deliver results for our customers.
  • Lead standard work adherence for your team and ensure benchmark standards are applied.
  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
