About the role
As a Refit Coordinator, you will work with all relevant stakeholders to manage the refit works on both new and renewal Projects

What you'll do:

Review costs and efficiencies and provide input to ensure CODB budgets are met and improved
Implement changes to store layouts to improve and maximize the sales performance of a store to support the business growth strategy
Complete costs and budget analysis and implementation
Improve the shopping experience with best practice in execution of renewals and new stores including continual focus on the customer needs
Ensure safety always has a priority position in planning and implementation of all work
Manage external teams as well as assisting store teams to ensure a harmonious and effective working environment.
Liaise with Construction, Macro space, Renewal team, and Store Operations as required.
Ensure minimum disruption to customers throughout any renewal.
Administer, develop and control the systems and procedures relating to Refit team member performance on store relays, considering minimum disruption to the customer
Develop a strategy to facilitate continuous improvement

About you
We're looking for an experienced professional who is interested in progressing their career in the refit space.

We're also looking for:

Experience working in supermarkets, ideally within groceries at a Department Manager level / 2IC or similar
An understanding of planograms and their implementation on projects
Flexibility for early starts and travel as required in the role
A proactive approach
An ability to work independently and as a team
Strong communication skills
An interest in improving the way we do things, as there is always room for innovation
Ability to travel throughout VIC (when required)
