About the role
As a Refit Coordinator, you will work with all relevant stakeholders to manage the refit works on both new and renewal Projects


What you'll do:

  • Review costs and efficiencies and provide input to ensure CODB budgets are met and improved
  • Implement changes to store layouts to improve and maximize the sales performance of a store to support the business growth strategy
  • Complete costs and budget analysis and implementation
  • Improve the shopping experience with best practice in execution of renewals and new stores including continual focus on the customer needs
  • Ensure safety always has a priority position in planning and implementation of all work
  • Manage external teams as well as assisting store teams to ensure a harmonious and effective working environment.
  • Liaise with Construction, Macro space, Renewal team, and Store Operations as required.
  • Ensure minimum disruption to customers throughout any renewal.
  • Administer, develop and control the systems and procedures relating to Refit team member performance on store relays, considering minimum disruption to the customer
  • Develop a strategy to facilitate continuous improvement

About you
We're looking for an experienced professional who is interested in progressing their career in the refit space.


We're also looking for:

  • Experience working in supermarkets, ideally within groceries at a Department Manager level / 2IC or similar
  • An understanding of planograms and their implementation on projects
  • Flexibility for early starts and travel as required in the role
  • A proactive approach
  • An ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • An interest in improving the way we do things, as there is always room for innovation
  • Ability to travel throughout VIC (when required)
