We currently have an opportunity for Safety Manager to join our Safety Management team based in Perth, WA.
What will you be doing?
- Driving improvement of safety performance and safety culture
- Achieving KONE's safety targets by developing and maintaining a safety focused culture
- Overseeing the delivery of regular internal and external reporting requirements
- Driving key projects with a focus on continuous improvement
- Drive the sharing of safety related information throughout the business unit, including investigation outcomes and best practices
- Implementing processes and procedures effectively to manage the safety of subcontractors
- Define safety target for budgets and for longterm planning to be approved by the line management.
- Actively engage with staff to coach, mentor and deliver safety training
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (WHS Degree or related discipline)
- Experience gained within a commercial environment ideally construction, electrical, chemical or transport industries
- Fantastic communication skills ability to engage and facilitate training
- Previous experience with workers compensation is highly advantageous
- Ability to coach, mentor and influence all level of stakeholders
- Ability to inspire, motivate and engage people
- An authorised driver's license and flexibility to drive to site
