REQUIREMENT:


  • Support for the VIO and Storage within the Pureflex Environment during 8x5 Hours of
  • Support plus oncall support 24 x7 for Priority 1 and Priority 2 Incidents.
  • Monitoring all hardware using EPS HMC's 8X this is a manual activity and must be performed at least once per day responding to, managing and resolving Incidents and Problems;
  • Managing the VIO as it relates to pseries infrastructure up to hypervisor level including patching (includes pnodes, VIO's and CMM management);
  • Managing the Pureflex Storage on SAN boxes, including storage switch management
  • Perform Pureflex reboots in support of hardware support activities;
  • ITM Agent monitoring for VIO, and if there are any issues, coordinating with ITM team to restart agent etc).
  • Managing the VMware environment for Pureflex;
  • Placing calls on hardware provider where a hardware fault is detected;
  • Providing HMC access required for Supplier resources
  • Level 1 Support for Brocade Switches;


  • Secondary controls

  • UAR (user access revalidation) function for Supplier employees only, performed on an annual basis using the Supplier UAR process; only, performed on an annual basis using the Supplier UAR process;
  • Execution of DR steps specific to Pureflex hardware during a real Disaster event,
