Contract role through to 30th June Principal Training & Learning Content Officer


We are partnering with a QLD State Government Department to recruit a Principal Training & Learning Content Officer - Brisbane CBD Based and is through to 30th June 2024.


The role
You will develop the Training plan and design, produce, and write training and course materials for their users.

You will be responsible for leading training to end-users and ensuring the upskilling of staff to the new ways of working.


You will be required to research and recommend suitable technology to support the i-learning and development content including a review of existing systems and potential new systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate a detailed Training Plan for Microsoft Dynamics implementation throughout the agency.
  • Analyse needs with Change Team for precise training focus.
  • Implement effective training platform(s) following research.
  • Forge dynamic training content, guides, and elearning materials.
  • Sustain a library of reusable assets for efficient training.
  • Enhance training quality through continuous review.
  • Deliver impactful training via inperson or video sessions.
  • Collaborate across teams for seamless project integration.
  • Ensure training aligns with business needs for success.

Key Skills

  • Knowledge of Articulate Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate or similar authoring tools.
  • Conduct detailed Training Needs Analyses to establish learner profiles, training plan and scope.
  • Knowledge of digital learning principles and practices
  • High level interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to assess priorities, problem solve, manage components of work, and negotiate for positive outcomes.
  • Conceptualise, design, and develop high quality blended learning artefacts.
  • Design high quality learnercentric digital learning experiences and resources
  • Conduct detailed Training Needs Analyses to establish learner profiles, training plan and scope of the curriculum.

Desirable

  • Experience in working within Agile ICT project environments.
  • Working knowledge Dynamics 365 platforms
