Quality Assurance Team Leader - Meat Processing Factory

Location:
Cleveland, QLD

Salary:
$67,500 per year (negotiable)

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays

Hours:8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Are you a dedicated Quality Assurance professional with experience in the food industry? Our established meat processing factory in Cleveland, QLD is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Team Leader.

In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the high standards of our meat processing operations and ensuring compliance with quality control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the quality assurance team in the meat processing factory

Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures specific to meat processing

Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold product quality and safety standards

Collaborate with production and other departments to address quality-related issues

Provide training and mentorship to team members on quality assurance best practices

Analyze data and metrics to drive continuous improvement in quality processes

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry, preferably in meat processing

Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards

Certification in food safety or quality assurance is an asset
