Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Extrusion Manager to join a growing and dedicated team. Working at our Regency Park manufacturing facility, you will be a part of the busy operations.

Utilise your leadership experience and great organisational skills to help support and strengthen the day-to-day aspects of the Extrusion Department and aid in leading the team in its overall performance.


Qualifications:


This role is a permanent fulltime role and requires the following to be successful.

  • Must have proven Plastics Extrusion experience
  • Blown film extrusion experience preferred
  • Experience in Polymer Extrusion or Polymer Processing will be advantageous if Blown Film Extrusion experience isn't applicable
  • A strong sense of accountability, responsibility, and attention to detail
  • A superior sense of urgency
  • The ability to aid in liaising with other relative departments
  • A positive attitude and ability to take ownership of your work
  • Motivation and drive to exceed targets and meet required timeframes
  • The ability to work in a team environment and maintain harmonious labour relations
  • Willingness to continually improve the way you operate, and your working environment.

Along with strengthening and supporting the Extrusion team, your new role will include assisting in the below areas:

  • Risk control
  • WHS&E and business risk
  • Scheduling
  • Waste Management
  • Staffing/Training
  • Documentation/Trouble Shooting
  • Quality Control
  • Compliance to food safety and other industry standards
  • Ontime delivery of 'in specification' products to customers
  • Monitoring employee behaviour
  • Ensuring all employees are aware of the security and safety procedures
