Description

Our Client is seeking a practical Grounds and maintenance Attendant to join the team.

You'll be reporting to the Park Managers and your primary duties will include assisting with repairs and maintenance of facilities, grounds upkeep, renovation work, and taking care of irrigation and waste management.

Our client, a local council south of the river, seeks a skilled and dedicated Parks and Gardens Grounds Person to join their team.

Description

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on the irrigation systems.
Conduct inspection and testing on commercial irrigation systems.
Program irrigation systems to meet operational requirements.
Modify and install new irrigation systems.
Operate small plant/equipment.
Working horticultural knowledge for dealing with issues in species, planting, maintenance, and watering.
Work closely with the supervisor.

Profile

Proven experience in commercial irrigation system operation and maintenance
National Police Clearance
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Physical fit and the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
