MARS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with the Open Arms service, an organisation dedicated to providing high-quality clinical services to veterans, defence personnel, and their families. We are currently seeking passionate and qualified Clinical Counsellors to join Open Arms in making a positive impact on the lives of those who have served our nation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Counsellor, you will be responsible for:

Providing high-quality clinical services, including assessment, individual, couple, and family counselling, and case management to eligible Open Arms clients, following care planning processes.
Contributing to the development and delivery of group programs.
Maintaining clinical records, analysing client data, and preparing reports to enhance service delivery.
Facilitating the delivery of counselling and other programs in rural and outer metropolitan areas, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Establishing partnerships with various organisations involved in meeting the needs of veteran and defence force communities.
Participating in ongoing learning, community development, service promotion, program evaluation, and research activities.
Adhering to cooperative and safe working practices consistent with APS Values and the Department's mission.

Mandatory Requirements:

Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance.
