About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for Administration Officers to be part of the Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks team in SWSLHD.

The Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks team provide health and development checks for 4 year old children enrolled in preschools or long day care services.


We are looking for applicants who are flexible, have a high level of customer service and excellent communication and organisational skills.


The role provides administrative and clerical support to the project lead and multidisciplinary team within SWSLHD Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks as part of the broader administration team to facilitate smooth operation of the service.

How to Apply

  • Extensive experience in the provision of administration, reception, and switchboard skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • Good understanding of issues and practices relating to client confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current NSW drivers licence or ability to obtain NSW drivers licence prior to employment.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to complete a variety of competing tasks.
  • Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
