Accounts Payable Officer

Permanent full-time position

Hybrid model - Cabrini Corporate Office Hawthorn East & WFH

Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free each year, plus meal & entertainment card

The Role

The Accounts Payable Officer will working on accounts payable and general clerical duties within the Finance Department.

Key responsibilities include:

Responsible for processing accounts payable invoices and payments.
Administration duties such as filing, and photocopying.
Establish good communications with other staff and departments.
Respond to Supplier queries.
Report to and consult with the Accounts Payable Manager regarding relevant issues.
Respond to briefing requests from the Accounts Payable Manager, Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer as required.

About you

You will have:

Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with both internal and external parties
Understanding of accounting and finance methodologies eg GL code, debit/credit, PO matching.
JDE and/or large ERP experience is highly advantageous.
Ability to use sound judgement when dealing with resolution of account queries.
Ability to communicate and have a professional demeanour at all times.
