About You

  • You have experience in providing effective and efficient administrative and office management support.
  • You have high level planning and time management skills particularly in the areas of prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines and ability to show initiative and to solve problems independently.
  • You have sound understanding of State Records Authority General Retention and Disposal guidelines in relation to health record retention, sentencing and culling.

What you'll be doing
The Administration Officer

  • HIS Health Record Quality is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative duties within the Health Information Services (HIS) to support the health record quality (paper and electronic).

This position supports the Health Information Services Management team by undertaking a range of duties such as health record tracking audits; health record sentencing and culling in line with State Records Authority General Retention and Disposal guidelines; discharge summary quality audits; provide administrative support and quality checks on transcription services; provide administrative support to health record quality projects as directed by Health Information Services Management.
