About the Role:


We currently have an opportunity to join our Health, Safety and Environment team as a Health Specialist, providing support across the entire OS Asset.

Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, you will be a key member in a team of dedicated professionals in this complex, diverse and rewarding setting.

This position can be offered in Perth or Brisbane on a standard Mon - Fri roster. Flexible working conditions will be considered.

In this role, you will be required to:

  • Provide technical expertise in injury prevention and injury management activities.
  • Maintain health reporting and execute data integrity and governance activities.
  • Maintain mutually beneficial relationships with medical and allied health providers

About You:


To be successful in the Health Specialist role you will have a genuine desire to help people achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes; combined with a clear understanding of the role that the resources sector plays in health, hygiene and wellbeing management of our most important asset - our people.


You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and proven experience in a healthrelated discipline (e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Exercise Physiology)
  • Working knowledge of relevant Health related legislation across Australia and coordinating workers compensation case management
  • Experience delivering health strategies and injury and illness prevention initiatives.
  • A commitment to coaching, influencing, and encouraging a mentally healthy workforce.


You will be able to work closely and share workload with your team but also be comfortable working autonomously when required and make informed decisions.

You will be motivated by a fast-paced environment and the opportunity to problem solve and drive positive change.
