About the Role
You will join a leading property development company as a Project Analyst.

You will be the conduit between the finance, acquisition, and development and construction teams to assist with modelling, analysis and financial reporting of projects within the portfolio.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can develop your skillset while helping to drive the success of this organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Project feasibility analysis and reporting to the senior management team of actual cost plus forecast cost to complete versus budget. This is to be completed within the first 10 business days of month end.
  • Setup, reconcile and monitor project budgets for all departments
  • Update project cash flow models with actuals to date (monthly) by extracting, reviewing and reconciling financial information from accounting systems
  • Prepare monthly reports and project analyses on all revenue and cost items with relevant budget owners. Liaise with relevant budget owners to understand commercial drivers and performance and comment on actual and forecast financial performance vs approved budget
  • Prepare monthly feasibility reporting to senior management, including analysis and commentary on actual and forecast financial performance vs approved budget
  • Prepare staged project cash flow summaries and reports for debt funding purposes
  • Analyse project performance and variances to budgets, costs to complete & sales progress
  • Assist with new site acquisition due diligence analysis

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Completion of related degree (Property/Commerce/Accounting)
  • CPA or ACA qualification preferred
  • Experience in project analysis and management
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
  • Ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problemsolving ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
