New HSE Advisor Role

  • Office and Site Based
- $140k - $160k Plus Super (DOE)


TEN Recruitment is currently recruiting a construction based HSE Advisor to join a outstanding commercial builder in Perth. With a long history in WA, they have delivered a range of large scale projects from education, mixed use developments, aged care and much more.

Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, your responsibilities may include:

  • Champion safety on site
  • Ensure HSE systems are implemented, working with site teams to ensure operation and ongoing compliance
  • Support the site team to maintain and improve all HSE related matters
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Conduct regular site and equipment inspections
  • Facilitate safety audits both internal and external
  • Provide advice on safety matters in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Reporting on and investigating injuries and incidents
  • Assist subcontractors to develop and document safety processes and monitor subcontractor performance
  • Complete relevant safety related documentation and paperwork
  • Liaise cooperatively with relevant external authorities

Essential criteria:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in a construction environment in Perth
  • Genuine passion for safety
  • Minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety and a Construction Industry White Card
  • Excellent working knowledge or current WA WHS Legislation and codes of practice
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with site teams including clients and subcontractors
  • Proficient user of IT including Microsoft Office and relevant industry software

$140k to $160k plus super (DOE)
