The Role:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for leading and managing the warehouse and identifying and delivering field operational improvements that will reduce cost and improve efficiencies in the delivery of works.

Key Responsibilities:

Working alongside the Operational Managers and Supervisors to identify opportunities for improvements.
Ensure all goods are picked and available for despatch within agreed timelines.
Manage the labour to ensure low cost to serve.
Ensure liaison with employee health and safety representatives, particularly on any workplace changes which have a safety component.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Organise regular stock taking and report on inventory levels.

You will have:

Proven experience in Warehouse Management
A tertiary qualification or suitable industry experience would be highly regarded.
Strong relationship building skills demonstrated by effectively influencing employees and key stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in financial analysis and identification of operational improvements.
Strong customer focus and negotiation skills
MS Office skills as well as strong IT systems knowledge.
Strong planning and organisational skills as well as high attention to detail.
