About the role

  • ANACC/Clinical Support role forms part of the Residential Services team providing tailored support to the Clinical Care Manager of the relevant home. The role is responsible for the funding process to ensure resident needs reflect revenue opportunities and agreed targets.
  • Monitor the Care Plan Evaluation, timely completion of assessments and clinical indicators
  • Ensure all clinical documentation supports ACFI /ANACC claims and validation
  • Coordinate admission processes to ensure the funding related assessments are completed to accurately reflect the care needs of the resident and submitted within required time lines
  • Continue the residence ANACC group in order to support staff engagement, their understanding of ANACC documentation requirements and assist staff in being able to identify potential uplifts
  • Support the Residential Services Manager in the management of ACFI/ANACC compliance
  • Provide relief cover for Clinical Care Manager

Skills & experience

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Knowledge and understanding of ACFI and ANACC, Aged Care Act, Accreditation Standards and relevant legislation
  • Experience in the provision of contemporary aged care and related services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, prioritisation and organisational skills, interpersonal skills and a strong ethos of client service and team development
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs and electronic resident care management systems
