Clerk Grade 7/8, $106,025 to $117,363 pa plus employer s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role
Your main function will be leading various project and programs within Major Program Delivery division.

This will involve using your knowledge of project management principles to gather information from various stakeholders across DCJ to develop associated programs and projects.


This is a unique opportunity to work in a Program Management Office (or PMO) that will provide you with invaluable knowledge, insight and experience into best practice portfolio, program and project management processes, governance, systems and tools.


What you ll do


As a Project Officer, within Major Program Delivery is responsible for providing project management support that contributes to the development and delivery of a range of projects that help inform infrastructure investment planning and asset management activities.


This role needs to facilitate engagement with key stakeholders across the Department, Cluster and NSW Public Sector to help ensure there is alignment between infrastructure strategies and service delivery priorities.

You will report to the Program Manager where you are responsible for:

  • Overseeing projects from end-to-end including project planning, procurement, vendor and contract management, delivery and transition to BAU
  • Engaging with stakeholders to educate and communicate information regarding office relocations
  • Creating futureproof and best practice processes for the ongoing operation of an A grade building
  • Collaborating and negotiating with various teams to coordinate favourable outcomes for the program
  • A key challenge of this role is meeting deadlines and milestones to the required standards while simultaneously delivering multiple projects

What we re looking for


The role will be focused on developing the Department s long-term infrastructure strategies to provide future direction for infrastructure investment and asset management across large and complex asset portfolios, including courts, corrective services and youth justice.
