About the Portfolio

The Operations Portfolio enables an integrated, enterprise-wide delivery for best practice student and staff experiences.

The Portfolio incorporates the following business units: Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP), Communications, People, Information and Technology Services (ITS), Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Procurement and Vietnam Operations.

The Portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components across the staff and student journeys and enables the overall experience for both groups.

The Portfolio is integral in bringing the RMIT strategy to life, across the globe.

Each of these functions supports the global operations of the University both directly as well as through its controlled entities.

The Information Technology Services (ITS) function, provides RMIT University with current and emerging Technology systems and services.

About the role

You will lead a team of QA analysts embedded in Agile and Waterfall initiatives and projects.

Reporting into the Senior Enterprise QA Manager, you will define, own and manage the test plans and strategies to deliver excellence in QA for our portfolio of projects and initiatives.

You will lead a QA team that operates in a matrix structure, centrally leveraging tools, frameworks and best practices whilst working daily within squads, programs and projects to deliver outcomes that matter.

About you- 3+ years' experience in leading QA teams working on projects and initiatives in complex and large organizations.- Ability to manage blended teams, including continuing and contingent labor as well as a partner delivered roles.- Experience in leading QA teams to deliver efficient testing outcomes, reducing test cycles, improving the quality of releases and significantly uplifting software engineering practices.- Ability to work with Program and Project Managers, providing a clear picture of quality measures and projects progress.

- Good understanding of common software failures and faults- Experience in testing across Unit Testing, System Testing, API, SIT, User Acceptance, Performance & Volume Good understanding of test automation integration into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps activities
