Description

Assistant Operations Officer. Ongoing role. Parramatta location with hybrid working arrangements. As a member of a large team, you will be required to attend our Parramatta office for meetings at least once a week.


We currently have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused Assistant Operations Officer to join the Payroll Tax Operations team in Business Taxes within Revenue NSW.


Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking lodgment enforcement action in relation to outstanding payroll tax returns
  • Raising and amending payroll tax assessments
  • Processing payroll tax customer registrations, cancellations, refunds, and groupstructure changes

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to provide a high level of effective customer service, including outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to motivate, coach and supervise staff, as well as provide constructive feedback to ensure work quality standards and key performance indicators are met;
  • Strong analytical skills to support team members handling more complex matters;
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a focus on achieving business outcomes

Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $89707 base plus superannuation
