High Reach Forklift Operator

Zoom Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a High Reach Forklift Operator OR Counterbalance Forklift Operator who is available for an immediate start working for one of our high-profile cold storage / transport clients based in Welshpool.

Ongoing role for the right person
Immediate start ASAP
Welshpool location
Day shift 6am to 2pm
Counterbalance Forklift Operator
Chiller
Day shift $33.96 per hour plus superannuation and penalty rates
Afternoon Shift 2pm to 10pm
High Reach Forklift Operator
Freezer
Afternoon shift $37.92 per hour plus superannuation and penalty rates
MUST be able to pass a current National Police Clearance
MUST be physically fit

To be successful in this opportunity you will need:

Responsible, reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Current Forklift License
Minimum 2 years high reach or counterbalance forklift experience in a fastpaced warehouse environment is essential
Minimum 5 levels high racking experience is essential for the high reach forklift operator
Experience loading and unloading containers and trucks with palletised freight
Cold stores experience preferred but not essential
Physically fit and happy to work in a freezer at minus 18 degrees
Able to demonstrate high level of safety awareness
Have excellent attention to detail
Have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Be well presented with strong communication skills
Selfmotivated and a quick learner
Have a current driver's license with a reliable vehicle
Have two contactable references
