Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role will be multi-faceted responsible for supervising quarry operations with a focus on production enhancement and improvement.


In your new role, you will be:

  • Bringing a strong safety mindset to manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others
  • Supervising the daytoday production operations and making decisions that impact the overall performance of the business
  • Managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals
  • Ensure the quarry is adequately maintained and stock levels of components and consumables are maintained
  • Uncover opportunities for improvements / initiatives in relation to work practices, planning and commissioning of new equipment, quarry operations, environmental, health and safety issues

  • Are familiar with using SAP CMMS
  • A positive presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • You are a natural problem solver and enjoy carrying out root cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Background in quarrying, mining or construction industries
  • Certificate IV in surface Mining Operations or equivalent
