Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Analyst with State Government.

As a Test Analyst you will develop a thorough understanding of the business and system processes, prepare test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

You will also undertake all stages of testing required including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing to ensure product developed satisfies the business and solution requirements.

You should have experience in similar roles, with exposure to
Salesforce and automated testing tools.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan and perform all endtoend testing activities including test planning, writing of test cases and test scripts, execution with test coverage for the defined requirements, acceptance criteria, and solution developed.
  • Defect logging and tracking with follow through to ensure testing is completed.
  • Work with the Business Analysts and other members of the project team to enable you to facilitate and run user acceptance testing for internal and external users and provide support as required.
  • Take ownership of work allocated by the Senior Test Analyst and/or Project Manager to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications and Skills:


  • Demonstrated understanding of Software Testing Lifecyle (STLC).
  • Solid experience in conducting user acceptance testing with end users.
  • Proven record of achievement in endtoend testing on complex IT programs of work.
  • Experience in manual/automated testing, and JIRA, Xray, Confluence, Salesforce.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prepare high quality project artefacts and test documentation.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of manual testing experience
  • Experience using automated testing tools (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication (both written, oral and presentation) and problemsolving skills are a must with ability to selfmanage & organise
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment, and willingness to work on a range of tasks as delegated throughout the project.
