Description

In this role based at Epworth Geelong, you will be responsible for an excellent medical reception service to our consultants, patients & stakeholders.

You will be part of the Sessional Consulting Suite team and report to the Manager-Medical Billing & Practice Support.


You will make an impact by:

  • Providing genuine, patient centred customer service
  • Displaying well developed organisational skills with an innovative & proactive approach to customer care
  • Rolemodelling empathy to patients and their families
  • Establishing and delivering on priorities and without direct supervision
  • Striving to consistently improve service delivery

To be successful in this role

  • Have excellent computer skills
  • Have current Medicare and Health Fund rulings and billing interpretations
  • Have recent experience in a similar role
  • Have sound knowledge of Genie & iPM
  • Have excellent presentation
  • Be empathetic to patients and their families
  • Be adaptable and enjoy working for a variety of medical specialities in a busy practice
