Hudson is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a large organisation as a Data Analyst.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in analysing criminal justice system data, providing valuable insights, and supporting evidence-based decision-making for the successful delivery of the program in the organisation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform detailed analysis of criminal justice system data to create forecasts and modeling reports.
  • Aggregate data and identify trends to support the Program Team in making informed decisions.
  • Conduct statistical analysis of data related to various aspects of projects, operations, and activities.
  • Develop reports, business cases, submissions, briefings, and correspondence.
  • Lead the creation of audiencerelevant data visuals, including dashboards, reports, graphics, and similar.
  • Assist CCSO Projects in developing highlevel reporting documents such as Operational Forecasts, Workforce requirements, and strategic dashboards.
  • Clearly articulate data context, interpretation logic, and any assumptions or limitations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative networks with business and other stakeholders.
  • Consult with stakeholders and coordinate the collection of data from multiple sources.
  • Stay informed about legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to the correctional jurisdiction.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrable experience and ability to analyze, interpret, and solve complex data problems.
  • Application of sound research and analytical skills for investigating issues and analysing business data associated with corrections.
  • Experience and understanding of program data analytics, forecasting, and modelling methodologies.
  • Exceptional document and version control to provide accurate and current data for reporting and decisionmaking.
  • Skills and experience in the preparation of reports and complex written documentation within a structured framework.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work autonomously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven highlevel negotiation and liaison skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks.
