THE ROLE


The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities, enabling strategic execution and driving sustainable value across IAG's supplier landscape.

The role will also drive the continuous improvement of IAG's strategic sourcing, planning, and sourcing function. This will be achieved within our risk appetite statement, regulatory requirements and other limits defined by the IAG Group. The role also leads and supports procurement initiatives relating to indigenous and or sustainable 3rd party expenditure.

You will need to provide thought leadership and unique insights to support the planning and execution of IAG's strategic priorities, contemporary operating model, and business plans.

You will be an expert in developing and planning sourcing and procurement support for Services and Product roadmaps, enabling enterprise programs and strategic products and services for the IAG Group and proactively looking for ways to improve commercial positions throughout each engagement.

Not only this, you will take the accountability for onboarding new suppliers and contracts and support our governance framework by ensuring adherence to IAG Group policies, and that we manage risks within IAG's risk appetite.


ABOUT YOU

  • You have minimum of 7 years + strategic sourcing and procurement experience as a Team Lead.
  • You're able to demonstrate sourcing maturity in large complex organisations you've worked in
  • You're an expert in stakeholder management, have excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with extensive category, supplier and contract management experience.
  • You are a project and change management expert.
  • You're a selfstarter with good communication skills, a team player with great collaborative skills.
