Role Summary


In this brand-new position, you will be working within the Risk and Assurance division in the Governance, Risk and Quality department.


You will have overall oversight for creating, implementing, and continually enhancing the organisations enterprise-wide risk management policies, frameworks, processes, and reporting to the Executive and Board Committees.


You will report to the Head of Risk and Assurance and collaborate closely with the Business Resilience and Internal Audit Managers to recognise and prepare for potential hazards and vulnerabilities to organisational and operational risks.


As the Risk Manager, your initial key responsibilities will include building a network of risk champions across the directorates, organising regular risk reviews across the directorates, and creating a risk management scorecard that includes key risk indicators.


  • Appropriate educational or professional credentials
  • At least 5 years of experience in implementing a risk management framework for a large company or corporation. Preferably, 5 years or more of experience as a highlevel manager in enterprise risk management.
  • Significant experience in designing and implementing risk management strategies throughout the organisation, in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Highly developed critical thinking ability
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior level
  • Strength and resilience to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a changing environment
  • Maintain a high standard of ethics and professionalism
