What You Will Be Doing


The Clinical Practice Improvement Coordinator (CPIC) works within the mental health and wellbeing service to ensure optimum care is provided to consumers/carers of our service and to facilitate clinical quality improvements.

The CPIC provides senior leadership regarding mental health priority projects and guides clinical staff participation and commitment on the planning, implementation and evaluation priorities to improve consumer care.

Ensuring clinical tools, policy, procedures and clinical practice guidelines support comprehensive care are implemented, monitored and evaluated aligned to the model of care.

You will lead the review of the Crisis Assessment Treatment Team (this review is a post implementation review, 12 months after the CATT team formed).

This is a - 4 month limited term position.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • A demonstrated ability to manage projects
  • A demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 and relevant Safety and Quality Standards
  • A demonstrated ability to coordinate a range of activities, set priorities and achieve deadlines in an environment of competing demands
  • An understanding of Victorian Mental Health Royal Commission Recommendations is highly desirable

  • Please refer to salary circular for VICTORIAN PUBLIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT for salary range. Subgrading will be based on years of experience.
