Your role
We are looking for an Analyst / Developer to join our Legal Product Lab in either Sydney or Melbourne.

In this role, you will contribute to the delivery and support of solutions in line with our product development and innovation strategy.

As an Analyst / Developer in our Legal Product Lab you will:

  • Operationally support and maintain existing solutions to a high service level for our internal and external clients
  • Configure and build solutions in other legaltech tools
  • Perform data analysis on legal and business problems
  • Create lightweight prototypes and experiments to prove the value of a potential idea
  • Document specifications, as built documentation and test plans as required to support security, governance and corporate knowledge retention for the solutions we build
  • Contribute to the solution design and analysis process for new ideas
  • Contribute to ongoing risk assessments of our solutions and implement secure coding principles in line with ISO 27001 guidelines.
  • Assist in running idea generation activities with our lawyers.
  • Contribute to training videos and user guides for the solutions that we build.
  • Conduct market scans of technology to solve specific pain points.


This is a permanent, full-time opportunity however we support flexibility, and would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.

We also support a hybrid working model, where working from home, and the office, is part of our norm.


About you

You will have:

  • Experience in Web Applications, HTML and CSS
  • Experience in Python, JavaScript as well as APIs and Software Integrations
  • Experience in Database Systems such as MS SQL Server
  • Expertlevel Excel / Access skills for data manipulation
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to the design and build process
  • Exposure to a professional services or legal services environment and an interest in the legal services industry
  • Exposure to engaging stakeholders on the different stages of the product lifecycle including inception, feasibility/viability assessments, process mapping, prototyping, experimentation and requirements gathering
  • An interest with emerging trends in the tech industry and have a real appetite to learn, grow, network and mentor others
