Description
Our client, a leading 3PL company within the Transport and Logistics industry, is seeking an experienced
Team Leader.

They have recently moved to a brand new facility out in Kemps Creek and is looking for a skilled individual to join their team on the
day shift.


The role will involve managing the flow of freight to and from the warehouse, liaising with transport providers and customers, and leading the warehouse staff to meet daily order requirements.


Responsibilities:


  • Working closely with the customer service team to meet shipment and customer requirements
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Providing logistics support for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Ensuring all warehouse activities are carried out effectively
  • Completing SOP documentation as necessary
  • Driving safety practices
  • Identifying areas for improvement, and reducing costs.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Team Leader in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven experience working with transport providers
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office)
  • An understanding of P&L and contract logistics.
  • Please note; you must be able to commit to fulltime working hours, Monday
  • Friday + have your own transport. _

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
$60, $65,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

Warehouse Team Leader: 2 years (preferred)
