What is the Role?


To contribute to the continuous improvement of the School's Work Health and Safety (WHS) Program including processes and procedures to provide a safe environment for staff, students and visitors.

This is a three days per week position and is a six month contract.


Who will the successful applicant be?

  • Qualifications (or equivalent experience) in work health and safety or a related field
  • Experience in identifying, documenting, assessing and managing WHS hazards, risks and controls in an operational environment
  • Good problemsolving skills and the ability to develop practical and contextually appropriate WHS solutions
  • Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively and respond respectfully
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt a collaborative approach, foster effective working relationships, and influence and gain consensus and commitment from others
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision to progress agreed deliverables within the required timeframe to the required quality
