The Product & Investing Solutions Crew is responsible for the end to end product management of the CommSec product portfolio (Equities, Margin Lending, Cash and Derivatives) and has accountability for P&L outcomes.

We manage, develop and implement new products, features and services to enable CommSec's purpose to empower more Australians to grow their wealth.

Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.
  • Act as the voice of the business and customer and translate this for the team.
  • Drive project inception and exploration to ensure alignment of product strategy.
  • Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.
  • Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.
  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.
  • Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap.
  • Lead the Squad daytoday and maintain a well prioritised Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
  • Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.
  • Manage the Squad's performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Have proven Product Owner experience.
  • A passion for delivering customers value.
  • Experience working with cash products or stockbroking platforms.
  • Great team leader with experience aligning technical squads to business outcomes.
  • Are strong communicators, both Verbal and Written.
  • Developed thought leadership, decision making and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience in liaising with a range of stakeholders from senior managers to technical developer teams.
  • Highly analytical skills with a strong commercial acumen.
