**Title:

  • Corporate IT Manager****Length:

  • North Sydney**In this newly created role, you will establish and maintain high quality relations with Information Technology contractors to ensure effective corporate IT strategy is developed, clearly aligned and implemented, and manage overall IT performance and projects with sufficient transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain high quality relations and communication with information technology contractors.
  • Ensure IT contractors provide proactive input to the organisation's strategy, timely responses and comply with agreed service levels.
  • Work with contractors, Technology Manager, CISO and NWRG leaders to ensure IT infrastructure and systems support strategic growth and meet operational and business requirements.
  • Together with contractors, Technology Manager, Operational Technology (OT) Manager, CISO, NWRG asset managers and leaders, contribute to strategic planning and action to ensure fitforpurpose cyber security implementation across Corporate IT.
  • Support the organisation's Information Management initiatives.
  • Take a lead role in influencing the agenda for regular update meetings with contractors and guide these meetings, as required.
  • Ensure IT performance is monitored and reported with sufficient transparency to satisfy NWRG performance standards, risk, compliance and governance obligations.
  • Oversee the performance of contractors delivering daytoday hands on IT support for NWRG operations (including projects).
  • Ensure incidents are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Engage with the NWRG through team meeting updates, service bulletins, etc.
  • Contribute to the overall IT strategic plan and roadmap and deliver projects that support and enhance IT services and operations.
  • Scan relevant IT and cyber security market developments for
trends, innovations and obsolescence and work with NWRG Technology Manager and CISO to identify areas for improvements.

  • Together with contractors and NWRG asset managers,
undertake strategic planning and action to deliver benefits from IT improvements.

  • Scope and provide governance oversight (including program management) for specific change and improvement projects.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor of Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in contractor relations and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully operating within a complex multi stakeholder business.
  • Strong computer network and IT systems knowledge.
  • Project management experience Specific Skills and Competencies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage and influence diverse
- stakeholders.

  • Strong contemporary technical knowledge of information and cyber security technology.
  • Excellent conceptual abilities enabling establishment of holistic frameworks and effective strategies.
  • Logical ordered approach to work with ability to plan and work to deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate results of analyses and adjust style to meet the needs of stakeholders
  • Growth mindset with the ability to actively listen, process feedback, reflect, learn and help others learn
  • Team player with ability to build and maintain quality working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Class C drivers licence
