About our Role:

We are seeking an
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist in Canberra to support our EWIS Land Systems Program Office (SPO) in delivering and sustaining critical Defence capability in support of Australia's war fighters in executing Defence's mission to defend Australia and its national interests.

This role will contribute to in flight projects with the EWIS Land SPO at various stages of the capability lifecycle, all of which seek to place the Australian Defence Force at the cutting edge of Electronic Warfare both now and well into the future.

Please note - You would need to be an Australian citizen having a minimum of Negative Vetting clearance 1 (NV1), with the ability to upgrade to NV2 if requested by the client.

What you will be involved with:

Work alongside Commonwealth project team members, supporting the progress of projects through the One Defence Capability System, including development of key documents supporting project clearance through Defence capability gate reviews.
Liaise with Defence and nonDefence stakeholders while contributing to ILS artefacts supporting project progress.
Perform Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) item reviews.
Provide advice and expertise on ILS policies and legislation for Defence stakeholders
Analyse complex logistics issues and identify recommendations.

What we would expect from you:

Tertiary qualification in Support System/ILS Engineering or other Engineering disciplines, or Technical qualifications with equivalent experience
An understanding of the ILS lifecycle from input to design to disposal

Desirable skills:

Defence experience in Electronic warfare and/or the Land domain
