The TAS/VART Assistant will:
- use discretion and judgement in planning and organising and achieving outcomes in time constraints;
- work under general direction. General Employees at this level may work semi
- autonomously
- perform duties that typically require a skill level which assumes and requires knowledge and training equivalent to completion of certificate III, or completion of year 12 or completion of certificate II, with relevant work experience.

Indicative Duties
- maintaining safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all equipment and machinery in the classrooms and specialty areas such as the Timber Workshops
- management and maintenance of resources in preparation for lessons such as sharpening tools and docking timber
- managing storerooms and monitoring and record keeping of stock and material costs
- ordering resources as directed by the leader of learning
- providing technical support to teachers and students in the classroom, and with equipment, processes, and media.
- ensuring that SAFE Work Practices and Procedures are in place, reporting potential risks or hazards
- ability to develop skills in 3D printing, modelling, laser cutting, CNC milling, and other resources as required
- proficient skills in software packages

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and CAD software

- other duties as directed by the Business Manager and/or Principal
