About the role:A newly created opportunity for a Marketing Analytics Manager has arisen within our passionate and energetic Brand Digital & Design team. This role presents a unique opportunity to build a team and function from scratch, and for one of Australia's biggest brands

What you'll be doing:Reporting to the Senior Manager Performance & Analytics, you'll drive the improved sophistication of digital marketing performance reporting for Coles Supermarkets and Online.


You'll grow and lead a team who continuously improve the way they leverage internal and external data; generating actionable insights that drive trade through Marketing spend effectiveness and efficiency.


You'll also:


  • Inform the business on how to best achieve commercial outcomes based on customer patterns, trends, and results
  • Improve the efficiency of our current models
  • Ensuring all relevant data sources are up to date with accurate information.

What you bring:

Tertiary qualified in Advertising/Marketing/Business, you have 8+ years' experience in a Marketing Analytics, Digital Analytics or Marketing Performance.


You can demonstrate that you've led a team of analysts who deliver digital Marketing analytics, insights and reporting (including building dashboards and PowerPoint decks), to support performance sharing with all levels of the business.

You'll also need:
  • Experience and knowledge of digital marketing platforms and associated data
  • Knowledge of B2B and B2C data structures including ecommerce and digital marketing metrics
  • Data Modelling to meet required objectives
  • Understanding and use of common analytics querying languages such as SQL
  • Ability to draw valuable insights from data and communicate them in a simple way
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to discuss data needs with nonmarketing stakeholders.
