We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. About the role
This role will involve routine testing in our busy toxicology laboratory. Experience in chromatographic, immunoassay and manual techniques will be well regarded whilst a knowledge of the AS/NZ 4308:2008 would be considered favourably. You will possess the ability to work within a very fast paced, team environment and have excellent communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Experience with liquid and gas chromatography preferred but not essential
Demonstrated understanding of immunoassay techniques
Demonstrated understanding of quality and confidentiality
Knowledge of AS/NZ 4308:2008 is highly desirable
Previous experience in pathology will be well regarded

To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
Specimen processing and data entry experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
The ability to cope and thrive in a busy environment
Ability to work with mínimal supervision and work as a team
Understanding the importance of following procedures accurately
A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
Previous laboratory experience and exposure to medical terminology would be desirable, but not essential
