    About the role
  • This role will involve routine testing in our busy toxicology laboratory. Experience in chromatographic, immunoassay and manual techniques will be well regarded whilst a knowledge of the AS/NZ 4308:2008 would be considered favourably. You will possess the ability to work within a very fast paced, team environment and have excellent communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Experience with liquid and gas chromatography preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated understanding of immunoassay techniques
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of AS/NZ 4308:2008 is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in pathology will be well regarded

  • Understanding the importance of following procedures accurately
  • A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
  • Previous laboratory experience and exposure to medical terminology would be desirable, but not essential
