The Opportunity


Due to growth in our WA office, we are now seeking a Civil Construction Manager for an exciting new project as well as an opportunity to build your highly experienced team.


Construction Managers work on rosters that meet operational needs and may be required to work shifts, weekends and from time to time to travel and work at locations outside their base.


Key responsibilities include

  • Provide leadership, direction, supervision and inspirational management to all team members (direct & indirect).
  • Coordinate and monitor construction resource requirements to determine any changes required in employee numbers so that present and future project objectives are achieved. Facilitate onboarding activities for new starters as required.
  • Monitor physical and financial progress of work in the construction phase and assist with forecasting.
  • Liaise directly with clients to maintain high level customer service relationships.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders, and client presentations associated with work winning as required.
  • Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed.

Requirements to be successful

  • Degree
    in a related Engineering discipline or relevant Trade qualification.
  • Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint and Adobe PDF.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing electrical construction activities on project sites within the transport sector.
