External property loss adjustor position managing own portfolio of strata claims

The Client:


  • My client is a large and well established underwriting agent who are expanding their loss adjusting space in Adelaide.
  • You will conduct on the road investigations in the commercial and domestic strata space. You will be responsible for determining the cause and extent of damage to strata spaces.

The Role:


  • Full time permanent position.
  • Assess losses in the commercial and domestic strata insurance space.
  • Investigate claims through multiple methods such as interviewing claimants and witnesses, obtaining official reports, inspecting physical damage, comparing claim information with evidence.
  • Provide support and advice to case managers, insureds and builders.

Experience:


  • On the road Loss Adjusting or desktop property assessing experience is essential.
  • An understanding of insurance industry
  • A sound general insurance background
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team focussed mentality.
