Metso Outotec have an exciting new project of building and developing a new purpose-built service centre which will be one of the largest in WA so that we can service our Client's efficiently.

This is your invitation to rise above what was possible yesterday and to join our positive change to our environment.

This new role will oversee the construction of the Metso Outotec Karratha Service Centre.

THE ROLE:

Ensure a high degree of safety is maintained daily and throughout the project.

Ensure all Metso Outotec employees, contractors and supporting services are inducted and have the necessary safety controls in place before commencing work.

Monitor progress of works against the current construction program
Compile detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as directed by the Project Manager
Monitor all civil/structural and mechanical activities whilst recording all quantities of the different disciplines on a daily basis (following progress using a reporting system)
Evidence monitoring via photographs, videos and transactional documentation.
Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved as per the agreed Principal Project Requirements and Australian Standards
Issue site instructions and other correspondence to trade contractors and consultants as directed by Project Manager.
Report to the Project Manager daily on the progress of site activities and advise of any current or potential issues
Collate all site TQ's RFI's and other requirements

ABOUT YOU:

HIghly motivated individual with a strong focus on safety, quality and environment
Extensive experience in the civil and construction industry (5-10 years)
Proven experience in the supervision of a construction project
Strong understanding of Project Management
A degree in either Mechanical, Civil and or Structural Engineering or Trade Qualification
