The Company:
Our client is an award-winning and highly established volume home building company and due to continued growth are looking to hire an Aftercare Maintenance Coordinator to join their busy construction team in Melbourne's CBD.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Arrange onsite 90day new home warranty inspections with Clients.
- Arrange service calls in new homes under warranty to investigate claims of defect.
- Review construction documentation to gain a full understanding of the original project scope & make recommendation of rectification solutions.
- Whilst overseeing rectification of defective works:
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier material and equipment deliveries & bookings.
- Identify construction hazards and risks to ensure efficiency and mitigate company exposure.
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with financial, operational, and/or scheduling requirements.
- Oversee the activities and performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Facilitate communication between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project participants.
- Resolve any worksite issues quickly and effectively in order to keep work progress on track.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing company standards and procedures & complying with legal regulations.
- Supervise completion of punchlists, closeout documentation, and demobilize the job site at the completion of a project.
- Gather information, develop solutions, and adjust to necessary changes in work sequences as required.
- General weekly reporting to the Managing Director.
Role Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability in delivering high quality Customer Service.
- Demonstrated ability in high quality supplier and subcontracted services coordination.
- Strong planning skills with precise attention to detail.
- A selfless, companycentric, cando attitude.
- Excellent time management skills accompanied with a robust workethic
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
