The Opportunity
- Engage and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across UNSW campuses
- Fulltime (35 hours week) 3year fixed term contract
You'll provide technical and administrative support for the effective operation of Cold Storage Services within the Division of Research - PVC (Research Infrastructure).
This position is responsible for a range of project support duties including stakeholder consultation, specialist equipment and external vendor management.
This includes working with staff from various UNSW Faculties and Schools, the University Community, and external stakeholders, to ensure that the Division of Research develops and implements strategies to continually improve the quality and breadth of cold storage service delivery, with the overall aim of supporting world-class research across UNSW.
The role reports to the Manager of Biospecimen Services.The Organisation
Cold storage plays an essential role in the support of world class research facilities at UNSW and reliable cold storage infrastructure is vital for maintaining the integrity of samples, reagents and experiments across more than 120 research groups.
