Panthers Penrith are seeking motivated and hardworking Trade Assistants to join their dedicated and busy Maintenance Team.

Enjoying various tasks, your main duties will include, however are not limited to

General maintenance and upkeep of the site;
Equipment testing and tagging;
Changing of light globes;
Patching, painting, carpentry as required;
Pothole repairs;
Assisting numerous tradesmen in various tasks;
Keeping work areas and amenities clean at all times and;
Ensuring compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety and WorkCover requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

Strong commitment and passion to developing your skills within the maintenance industry;
A strong work ethic, works well in a team environment and is conscientious of others;
Be reliable and have a positive attitude;
Highly motivated individual who shows initiative in the workplace;
Ability to work well under pressure and be selfsufficient to complete tasks within the set timeframes;
Possess strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work;
Current Drivers Licence;
A good level of physical fitness as the role contains consistent and continuous lifting, moving and pushing;
Willing to learn specific systems of the site;
5 years of trade or handyman experience minimum and;
Trade qualifications preferred but not required

You will have the ability to work under pressure and take satisfaction in a job well done in contributing to ensuring the club is well presented and safe for our members, guests and staff.

Punctuality and reliability is essential as you will need to be available 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, to work as required on a rotating roster.
