What you'll be doing
Provide an effective administration support service to multidisciplinary staff within Forensic Medicine, customers and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support in a complex and challenging work environment, including demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including ability to accurately transfer information in a timely manner, and ability to handle distressed customers/clients, knowing when to escalate matters appropriately.
  • Strong ability to effectively work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills, with capacity to prioritise workload, and manage competing deadlines.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an environment that could be distressing, ensuring to raise any associated concerns and/or need for support, and adopt selfcare strategies.
  • Demonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSW Health Pathology RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases
This is a Category A position.

All Category A applicants must read and understand NSW Health Policy Directive PD2023_022 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases.

  • All NSW Health workers are required to have two doses of a COVID19 vaccine, as defined by NSW Health. Employees working in a clinical area or are required to attend clinical areas are considered category A. Category A positions are required to provide evidence of having received _
    _three doses of COVID19 vaccine__ in accordance with the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (TGA) and meet the requirements of the _Occupational Assessment Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy Directive_._
    _ __You will be required to provide a record of your COVID19 vaccination status if successful._
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
