About the role
We currently have a new opportunity for National Operations Manager to join our leadership team based in Wacol.

This role will

  • Lead the operational teams based in Wacol and Newcastle in meeting and exceeding the annual financial budgets including operational KPIs
  • Build a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver customercentric solutions.
  • Create process standardisation and alignment across our manufacturing locations, to allow us to deliver finished engineered product efficiently across all our markets.
  • Develop and execute sound operational strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Accurately prepare budgets and forecasts

About you
To be successful in this position the following skills and experience are desired

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership position
  • Experience in the road transport and / or capital equipment
  • The ability to lead, motivate and manage people to achieve desired outcomes
  • Negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of Relevant WHS legislation, policy, and procedures
  • A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering is desirable
