Base salary range $109,612 - $127,070 plus super

About You:

As a curious human, your strengths could be in market modelling or analysing. Other experience key to your success;

Several years analysing data from the Australian National Electricity Market
A growth and continuous learning mindset with the ability to adapt and improve in a rapidly evolving industry
Confident Excel skills and programming experience (R, Matlab, Python, Java) and SQL.

About the role:

Based in either Hobart or Melbourne, you will be working with a small expert team with the goal of providing the broad market outlook to maximise revenue opportunities for Hydro Tasmania.

You will support portfolio optimisation by providing technical and analytical support to our modelling activities, and undertaking quantitative and qualitative energy market analysis.

You'll work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders across our operations, strategy, commercial and finance teams.
